The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager and Sales Department in all parts of the residential, commercial and utility scale PV system planning and management cycle. Tasks will include detailed engineering site surveys, optimum PV system designing, detailed cost estimating, providing technical guidance to installation process, testing, system commissioning as well as after sales services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct detailed engineering site audits with the sales department to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential, commercial or utility scale solar power systems.
- Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings.
- Develop cost estimates of PV plants that include all aspects of the project cycle.
- Develop an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) program which includes coordinated oversight of O&M activities, monthly performance reports and site documentation for clients and internal use, remote monitoring of the plants and conferring with customer and service partners to resolve complaints and to resolve arising challenges.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering Discipline from a reputed university (Local or Foreign)
- At least 02 years of post-qualifying experience (Minimum of 01 year experience of PV Systems will be a definite advantage)
- Should be a very good team player.
- Must be able to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Possessing excellent communication, presentation, analytical and Interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
